CityWalk Reykjavík specialises in walking tours in Reykjavík. The company was established in 2014 by Marteinn Briem and his daily „free“ tours for travellers. Quickly the tour became revered and mentioned world around in media and commonly the topic of conversation in hotels which fueled the expansion of the company. Today we still operate the free walking tour as before where guests can choose their price at the end of the walk. Furthermore we also service pre-paid small groups and private tours which often include food stops en-route.

The „free“ tours normally starts at Austurvöllur Square, opposite to the Parliament building. The pre-paid tours normally starts in front of Hallgrímskirkja church (2-3 hours).

The same base of guides is still at work which proves the unique stability of CityWalk in comparison to all tourism operators in Iceland. They emphasize quality guidance as can best be seen through the thousands of public reviews received and through the decades of fruitful partnership with many agencies.

CityWalk have never cancelled a tour because of mishappenings or bad weather, as they always adapt and having flexibility and plan B is their motto.
